I did not want to say goodbye to the beautiful island of Bohol. Our Seas The Day Bohol Tour was coming to an end and our last destination was Jojie’s Painitang Bol-anon located at the City Square Mall in Tagbilaran City, Bohol.
Jojie’s Painitang Bol-anon is a local delicacy shop that serves kakanin, a popular Filipino dessert made of glutinous rice, and cassava desserts.
Before we got to taste their famous signature desserts, we had breakfast first at the shop. We enjoyed their kosahos baka, kosahos baboy,chinorizo, vegetable lumpia, and inun-unan piniritong tulingan. My personal favorite is the inun-unan piniritong tulingan.
After eating our first set of breakfast food, kakanins were brought to our table. We got to try their puto balanghoy (steamed cassava cake), dinumugan(a banana delicacy that tastes like nilusak or pounded banana), biko (a rice cake), cassava cake and bibingka. Jojie’s Cassava Cake is the best! The owner, Maam Jojie even gave each of us a box of either cassava cake or biko.
These delicacies cost around P100 – 120 per box depending on the number of slice and product.
I would highly recommend Jojie’s Painitang Bol-anon as the best one-stop destination for our all-time favorite Bohol delicacies. They truly have the best Bohol delicacies in town.
