MV Logos Hope: The World's Largest Floating Bookfair

I remember clearly how excited I was 6 years ago when MV Doulos, one of MV Logos Hope’s sister ship, docked into Cebu City shores. Not only was it special because of its final voyage, but it was at that time my aunt promised me that she will buy my first Bible as a birthday gift. (which btw, is already in good hands of a child in a shelter for abused and abandoned children I volunteered in many years ago.)

I knew about this ship as a child. My father kept telling me that there’s a big boat out there in the vast ocean that is just 2 years younger than Titanic and houses thousands of books. He said he was able to ride that big ship when he was a child. (Imagine my jealousy when he was sharing the story to me. Hah!)

Years later, MV Logos Hope, the newest and fourth ship operated by GBA Ships e.V was back in Cebu last 2012.

And now, three years later, they are back with over 5000 titles at affordable prices.

I consider myself blessed because I was able to visit all of the three book fairs so far in this lifetime.

So here are some of the photos I took when I went there a few days ago…
