Travel Essentials Volume IV: Hair Care Products
I can’t remember the last time I had a good hair day. For someone who constantly exposes herself under the sun, it’s no longer a question why I have a frizzy hair. Traveling can also take a toll on your hair, especially when you are on a plane. It just makes your hair drier than it already is.
This has been a constant issue for me. First and foremost, I am a girl. Although I am not particularly interested in cosmetics, I still also want to look and feel good. I still want my hair to look like Rapunzel’s glowing locks, rather than a witch’s broom. If you know what I mean.
I am not a huge makeup junkie, so the beauty essentials that I bring whenever I travel are pretty minimal. This is where my favorite hair care travel essential comes in – a hair polish.
I’ve tried several hair care products in the past, but I’ve stayed with Vitress for a long time now. Their hair polish and cuticle coats sure do makes wonders on my hair no matter what adventures lay ahead. And they smell so good! I’ve had several people compliment me that my hair smells good even when I’m climbing a mountain. Shampoo and conditioner are certainly not enough to tame my wild unkempt hair which is why Vitress is a heaven-sent product for me.
It comes in handy when I get invited to parties and get-togethers with other travelers. I don’t want to be that female traveler who looked like she hasn’t combed for years.
Earlier this month, I got hooked up with Saladbox – a beauty box subscription service that allows you to discover new beauty and lifestyle products through a subscription platform. This month, they are now collaborating with Vitress and Kolours – two iconic Filipino brands whose products give life to dull hair and make it more manageable.
Some of the hair care products they are featuring in their beauty box right now are Vitress Hair Polish, Vitress Hair Cuticle Coats, and Kolours Dual Hair Conditioning Hair Color.
These Vitress products are definitely coming with me in my future travels. I am not sure if I’ll be able to use the Kolours Hair Color soon though, as I am currently on a one-year hiatus to coloring my hair. But we’ll see. I would love to sport a new look soon. 😉
