I am not a morning person, but some times, I like getting up early in the morning. The sight of birds in coordinated flights and the smell of freshly baked bread… Oh, life’s simple pleasures.
Speaking of breads, my co-bloggers from Cebu Blogging Community and I went to Estrella Bakery on February 29, 2016. It was part of our Seas The Day Bohol Tour that was arranged by Empty Nest Vacation House.
Estrella Bakery is the only place in the Bohol province that serves Illy coffee. Illy is an Italian company founded in 1933. Their founder Francesco Illy, developed the modern espresso machine. Their coffees has distinctive velvety smooth blend.
We had our breakfast at the said bakery and had their mouthwatering breads and pastries. We got to try blueberry muffins, croissants, tuna and chicken croissants, scones, and pan au chocolat.
Also, we were lucky to be the last ones to have tasted their crepes which was already taken off their menu.
Pain au chocolat is made using the same dough as the croissant except that it is rolled with chocolate filling inside.
The blueberry muffins were my absolute favorite! What can I say? I’m a muffin girl.
I enjoyed a hot mocha latte as my drink along with my breads and pastries.
Estrella Bakery not only serves international pastries, but also traditional breads we have grown up with, such as Ensaymada, Empanada, Cinnamon Roll, Peanut Butter and Jelly, and many more!
Prices for these sweet delights ranges from only PHP 20-70 and PHP 30-100 for drinks.
The bakery has a stylish and comfortable interiors making it the best place to simply relax and enjoy good food and drinks.
I would highly recommend visiting Estrella Bakery whenever you are in Tagbilaran City. They can certainly satisfy your sweet cravings with their exciting array of breads and pastries.
