My first food experience in Bohol was awesome. The moment we arrived at the Tagbilaran City Port, we headed straight to Abi’s Seafoods and Grill for dinner.
Abi’s Seafoods and Grill serve a variety of classic Filipino cuisine. They deliver an upscale dining experience with an emphasis on grilled seafood dishes. They are situated at CPG North Avenue, Cogon, Tagbilaran City which is convenient to travelers looking for a place to dine in the city.
They offer All-You-Can-Eat buffet for only PHP 250! That already includes bottomless iced tea or juice, depending on the day’s menu. Very affordable, right?
They also have the same concept with AA’s Barbecue here in Cebu, wherein you can choose if you want seafood, meat, and barbecue choices at the entrance and have it grilled or however you want it to be cooked.
The restaurant’s interior is simple, but cozy. They also have a nice function room at the second floor if you would like to book for a private gathering. The function room can accommodate up to 20 persons.
The place was packed full of diners when we arrived. Apparently, many Boholanos truly love dining in this restaurant.
I was so hungry when we arrived that I basically had almost everything they served on the buffet table. But what I loved the most is their grilled talaba. Talaba used to be the least of my favorite seafood dishes, probably because I have not tasted anything special ones here in Cebu. But Abi’s grilled talaba is truly and exemption. Most of us actually had a second round of it.
I also liked their binangkal. Binangkal is fried bread, coated with sesame seeds. They may also be called sesame balls. It’s a Visayan dessert and in fact, a popular snack especially in Cebu.
I would highly recommend dining at Abi’s Seafoods and Grill whenever you are in Tagbilaran City. Their food choices are super affordable and delicious.
