Casual Dining at Sun Cafe in Tagbilaran City, Bohol

After visiting the National Museum Bohol and the house of the 8th President of the Republic of The Philippines, Carlos P. Garcia, my friends from Cebu Blogging Community and I went to Sun Cafe to have lunch. This cafe and restaurant is a complementary dining establishment of Sun Avenue Tourist Inn.

Sun Café is located along Gallarest Street, which is pretty accessible by public transport. They are close to the heart of the city, located near the city’s seaport, airport, and major establishments.

The moment I entered the restaurant, I instantly fell in love with its classic interior. The set-up is an ideal escape for those who simply wants to focus on some work, enjoy good food, and catch up with friends.

They serve delicious and affordable home-inspired fusion cuisine. Their best-selling specialty is the Pork Texas Ribs. Their serving size is humongous! The last place I have seen a Pork Ribs that big was when I dined at Casa Verde.

They also have a great selection of coffee blends, juices, and mouth-watering desserts.

I was still full when we arrived at Sun Cafe so I only settled for their Tuna Garden Salad and a little bit of Chicken Cordon Bleu. The salad is my all-time favorite at the restaurant. I believe the lettuce and apple has a seasoning on it so when I dipped it to the tuna, flavors was bursting in my mouth gloriously. It was absolutely delicious!
